Priority groups (boarding-style calling)

Turn your service types into ranked groups with open/close gates — call Group 1, drain it, open Group 2 — like boarding an aircraft, from one console card.

Any staff can open/close gates; Location Admin configures the groups

Windowed mode only. Off by default — pure first-come-first-served until you opt in.

What it does

With priority groups on, your service types become ranked groups (their order on the Services page is the rank). Each group has a gate: only open groups are callable, in rank order — a late Group 1 arrival is still called before Group 2. Customers see their group on their ticket and on the "NOW CALLING" strip of the board; anyone with no group ("General") is always callable, last.

Run a session like a gate agent

  1. On the staff console, find the Group calling card.
  2. Open Group 1. Serve until it drains.
  3. Tap Open next — Group 2 joins the callable line. Repeat.
  4. Close all resets the gates for the next session.

Gate changes push instantly to every customer's phone and the board, and (with auto-call) freshly opened groups start flowing to windows on their own.

Staff-only tiers

Untick customer can self-select on a service type to hide it from public check-in — staff assign it at the desk. That's how you run a genuine priority tier without customers self-upgrading.
