Add & manage services
The list customers pick from when they check in — add, edit, reorder, disable, or start from an industry template.
Requires Location Admin
Services are optional. With none, customers just check in with their name — perfect for roll call, waitlists, and simple queues. Add services only if you want customers to pick what they're here for (e.g. "Oil change", or a class/group name). "Group 1, Group 2…" services usually mean the location was set up as a boarding/group-calling business — delete them if that's not what you want.
Where to find them
- Classic menus: open Settings and expand Your services.
- Queue screen: Set up → Services & stages (opens the Services & stages tab of Settings), then Your services.
Add or edit services
- Each service row lets you edit the name and an optional estimated duration (minutes) — select Save on the row after changes.
- Use the ↑ ↓ arrows to reorder (the check-in form lists them in this order), Disable to hide one temporarily (Enable brings it back), or Delete to remove it. Past tickets keep the service name in their history either way.
- The 👤 Customer / 🔒 Staff-only button controls whether customers can pick that service themselves; staff-only services (for example a priority group) can only be assigned by your team.
- To add one, type a New service name at the bottom of the section and select Add service.
Keep a catch-all like "Other" so customers always have an option.
Start from a template
Expand Start from a template, pick your Industry template, choose Replace mine (services already used on tickets are kept hidden for history) or Add to mine, then select Apply and confirm.
Test it
Open your check-in page in a private window and check the service list shows your customer-pickable services in order. With no customer-pickable services the list doesn't appear at all; with exactly one, it isn't shown and that service is attached to every check-in automatically.
