Move a location into (or out of) your business
Adopt a standalone location you own into your business, or release one back to standalone.
Adopting requires Business Admin or Owner (and being the Owner of the standalone location); releasing requires Business Owner
Adopt a standalone location
You can move in a location where you're the Owner and that isn't in any business yet.
- On Home, under Other locations, select Move into <business> (or Add to a business if you have several businesses). Or open your business console → Locations → Or add a shop you already own, pick the Shop, and select Add to business.
- Confirm. You'll see "Location added".
The location keeps everything — its check-in link, QR code, customers and history stay exactly the same. It simply becomes part of the business (team cascade and roll-up reports included). Adopting counts toward your plan's location limit — see Plans, quotas & limits.
A location that already belongs to another business must be released from there first.
Release a location
In Locations, a Business Owner selects Remove on a location and confirms. It becomes standalone again — data, link and QR intact — and business-role members lose their cascaded access to it. Its direct location team is unaffected.
